The Stairs Bar is one of the inimitable speakeasy bars in the heart of West-Berlin. In 2017 the door - to the stair steps - opened by owner and initiator Konstantin Hennrich. As a bartender and entrepreneur, he has made a name for himself in the german speaking bar world and created a place of comfort and wellbeing.
In this bar, enjoyment is in the foreground, always with the background of wasting as few resources as possible and always thinking with a long-term and sustainable approach.

Above all we are dedicated to leave footprints and a contribution to modern drinking culture.
If you talk about enjoyment and drinking culture in general, you will hear a lot of opinions and preferences. That is why we offer you a large selection of high-quality spirits from all over the world.
We have a strong focus on our selection of rum and whiskey, which are often the bases for our classic drinks.
Of course, we offer you a classic cigar service at the table and the opportunity to get a taste of our large selection that our "The Balvenie Humidor" offers.
Much emphasis is placed on sustainability without the guest being distracted from the essentials - enjoyment. It's the small details that make the difference: Reusable drinking straws made of glass instead of disposable plastic, LED lights instead of wax candles or the use of reusable towels instead of paper napkins.
With the craft itself, however, you have to walk the extra mile:
no fresh citrus fruits, which generate a lots of waste, but rich lemon- & limewater from our own production. Leftovers of anykind are used in the homemade liqueurs. Home-grown products that are used anti-seasonal throughout the year. Last but not least all leftovers are implemented in the seasonal milkpunch cocktails! #milkpunch

Konstantin Hennrich is one of the great names of the Berlin bar scene. With over 10 years of expertise in the bar industry, a native of bavarian from Munich has left his mark on the republic's drinking establishments.
His gastronomic career began in Munich's legendary P1 Club. He was bartender at the AMANO Bar ( at that time awarded with Hotel Bar of the year and Bar Team of the year) and manager of the CHAPEL Bar. From there, his path led him to the CURTAIN CLUB and the FRAGRANCES of the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
As the owner of the STAIRS Bar and managing director of COCKTAILANDO, he has big plans for the coming decade!

Kenneth Hartinger is from Allgäu in the south of germany. As philosophy student he started his way through a whole spectrum of gastronomy. His wish to start as a barista in a café turned out to be his carrer changing moment. His former boss put him into one of his cocktail bars – and there he was. Kenneth the bartender.
After he had the chance to learn and practise the interaction between drinks and food. He wanted to make another step forward. From Regensburg he moved to Berlin City to follow the steps of great rolemodels that led him to Bar am Steinplatz.
Now as the youngest member of the STAIRS crew he will bring fresh wind and new ideas to the team.

Last but not least, we introduce you to Phum Sila-Trakoon. He has been part of the European bar scene for over 15 years and knows both sides of the business.
During his time as a bartender, he managed projects such as
LE CROCO BLEU Bar (internationally nominated and awarded), CONTEMPORARY FOOD LAB and THE FOUR SEASONS Hotel. For the last 5 years he has been looking for the best drinks around the world as a Global Brand Ambassador for THOMAS HENRY. His previous employment at MIXOLOGY and BAR CONVENT BERLIN makes him the perfect brand manager for our company.
His aim is to leave a lasting footprint on the German gastronomy scene and his favourite drink is a fancy ICE TEA!
